To add charm, comfort and warmth Denise included touches like three-dimensional wallpaper that resembles wood to the ceiling of the entrance hall, and a slate backsplash and custom sofa with velvet fabric in the kitchen. She also chose a colorful geometric wallpaper for a blast of pattern in the elevator.

 
 
 
 

When Lily Burns, daughter of filmmaker Ken Burns, and her husband Tony Hernandez, partners at Jax Media, a television and film production company that has worked on shows such as “Emily in Paris” “Russian Doll” and “Search Party” discovered a 4 story, 5,500 square foot townhome in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn they sought out Denise to ensure the interiors had personality. The couple wanted their home to have a Parisian vibe, with modern furnishings and classic architectural details. It also had to be suitable for a growing family with young children.
