The D2 Difference

Where to start in this magnificent master bedroom retreat? D2 Interieurs reconfigured the architecture in the room so that the first thing the owners would see is the water view. D2 added a balcony, and a one of kind bedside pendant lighting from Germany, custom Holly Hunt fabric on the massive upholstered sumptuous bed, as well as custom D2 Interieurs designed night stands and bench. 

“The house has so many sharp corners and angles, and we couldn’t do much about that,” the designer maintains. “But when I design, I love circular shapes. It symbolizes life and unity – how we’re all tied together.”

In the master bedroom, note the spherical light fixture, beaded bedside sconces and round fringed mirror. Combined with grasscloth wallpaper, a lake view that can be enjoyed from bed and soft velvet upholstery throughout, the result is in a word – harmonious.
