This project was a 2 year labor of love. D2 combined 2 properties for the client who uses this palatial estate as their weekend escape from their New York City apartment. There is a separate guest house.
A waterfront oasis on Lake Lillnonah; situated on 30 acres in Litchfield County. The main house is over 14,000 sq ft, which required a complete renovation inside and out. Every detail of this project was meticulously designed by D2 and a team of architects and artisans, from the custom 12 ft. entry doors to the 13 ft. Nana doors in the family room.
The kitchen was opened up to create an open floor plan. The homeowners wanted the kitchen to flow into the family room and also outdoors. When the doors are open there it is true indoor/outdoor living at its finest.
