HAMPTONS HAUTE BEFORE AND AFTER PART 2

“The house has a feeling of luxury with a relaxed beachy vibe, that doesn’t seem overdone. We really believe that all the homes we design are homes that people live in. They are not showrooms. People come to us for our use of color and the homes are comfortable and livable.”

– Denise Davies, Founder & CEO

Family Room After

“Because of the direction the house faces, it does not get a lot of natural light, so we had to install lighting that gives the illusion that the house is much lighter and brighter than it actually is. The house opens up to the pool as well and we wanted the indoors and outdoors to flow,” says Davies of some of the design challenges.“We kept the general interior of the home light and airy in feel with a cozy custom D2 rug in the family room.” Photograph by Allyson Monson.

Library After

This comfortable reading nook was designed with guests in mind. The playful Miro Tables from Oly flank the chaise lounge and the rattan chairs. The rug is an original D2 Interieurs design.

UPSTAIRS LANDING

The homeowner loves the artwork and the lighting and the pops of blue on the ottoman as she goes up or down the stairs! Always something to smile about. You can’t help but be happy and relax in this beach house.

Pool House/Guest House

A touch of bohemian chic with a Morrocan flair is seen in the pool house. Day bed is from Serena & Lily. Throw pillows made from a mix of vintage rugs and El Ramla Hamra.
