The D2 Difference: Mid Century Madness

This house was a diamond in the rough.

We started in the living room — and throughout the house — and refinished the honey-tone wood floors, which were stripped to a light finish. The living room beams, formerly an ugly brown, were painted Benjamin Moore’s Simply White, which is also the new wall color. Now the room is open and bright!

Denise had the built-ins painted with Farrow & Ball Ammonite, installed new lighting, and did a little zhushing of the books, art, and objects and voila - the most maddening mid century living room!
